Research Interests: Patristic Theology, Athanasius, The Council of Nicaea and its Legacy

Dr. Shaw holds an MA, MSt, and DPhil in Church History from the University of Oxford (UK).

Dr. Shaw serves as the lead pastor of Providence Church in Avon, Ohio.

Dr. Shaw has been married to Mallory since 2011 and together they are forming three sons Graham (b. 2015), Andrew (b. 2018), and James (b. 2024).
