Certificate of Ecclesial Counseling

Emmaus' Certificate of Ecclesial Counseling (CEC) provides a vision for soul care as an element of life in the local church at a certificate level. Students will be equipped with the tools of biblical counseling ministries either in addition to a larger course of study (e.g., MDiv) or in a standalone Certificate.

Biblical Theology:

—Hermeneutics (BT 01) or Biblical Theology (BT 02)


Systematic Theology:

—Theology I (TH 01)

—Theology II (TH 02)


Practical Theology:

—Biblical Spirituality (PT 01)


Ecclesial Theology:

—Ecclesial Theology (TH 03)

—Virtue and Ecclesial Formation (ET 03)


Ecclesial Counseling:

—Introduction to Ecclesial Counseling (EC 01)

—Theology of Ecclesial Counseling (EC 02)

—Methodology of Ecclesial Counseling (EC 03)

—Typical Problems in Ecclesial Counseling I (EC 04)

—Typical Problems in Ecclesial Counseling II (EC 05)

—Marriage and Family Counseling (EC 06)
