Credit Hours:

For those with an undergraduate degree who are seeking to earn a master’s degree, Emmaus offers a Master of Arts in Ecclesial Theology (48 hours) for a broad introduction into Biblical Studies, Christian Thought, and Ecclesial Theology. This basic master’s level program provides training and education for individuals to serve in a number of ministry and leadership roles in and for the church.

—New Testament I (NT 501) or New Testament Theology (NT 503)

—Hermeneutics (BT 501)


Historical Theology:

—Church History I: The Church to the Reformation (CH 501)

—Church History II: The Church from the Reformation (CH 502)


Systematic Theology:

—Theology I (TH 501)

—Theology II (TH 502)


Practical Theology:

—Christian Ethics (ET 501)

—Christian Missions (MS 501)

—Biblical Spirituality (PT 501)


Ecclesial Theology:

—Ecclesial Theology (TH 503)

—Liturgy, Word, and Sacrament (TH 504)

—Virtue and Ecclesial Formation (ET 503)

—Religious Landscapes (MS 503)
